Honda Amaze Facelift – Whats New wi …

The new Honda Amaze is back with exciting new features and an exclusive design. The Japanese carmakers have taken the new Amaze facelift to the next level in order to continue its unparalleled legacy in India. Honda Amaze is one of the most popular compact sedans in India, it’s a brilliant new five-seater that offers both petrol and diesel engines for you to choose from.

Also, Honda Amaze is now available in five exceptional colours including Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Radiant Red Metallic. You can now stand out on the roads with these bright new colours.

 

Amaze Variants 

The new Honda Amaze comes in three trim levels, each equipped with cutting-edge technology. It includes the Amaze E, Amaze S and Amaze VX, as the trim level goes up, so does the number of features in the new Honda Amaze. In addition to that the new Amaze also comes in nine different variants including Amaze VX CVT, Amaze VX, Amaze S Diesel, Amaze S CVT, Amaze S, Amaze E Diesel, Amaze VX CVT Diesel and Amaze E. In India, the top selling Amaze variants include the Amaze VX and the Amaze VX Diesel.

 

Exterior Facelift

The new Honda Amaze has undergone a lot of exterior design changes. It now has a stylish grill as well as two additional chrome strips at the bottom. Honda has also modified the front bumper, added chrome garnishing and installed LED fog lights with some embellishing chrome work for a streamlined design.

The Honda Amaze facelift includes automatic LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights along with chrome-plated door handles. The updated sedan’s side profile is also enhanced by a set of 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels while its rear is fitted with the new C-shaped LED tail lights along with some additional chrome accents on the rear bumper and trunk reflectors which are extremely appealing.

 

New Interior Style

The interior of the new Amaze is now equipped with numerous never-before-seen features which not only adds to the passenger’s comfort and convenience but also improves the vehicle’s interior design. For example, Honda Amaze is now equipped with a new chrome finish on the AC vent knobs, a dust and pollen filter, front map lamps and a new inside lining on the trunk lid. Not to mention the leather gear lever knob and the silver accents on the dashboard which elevate the interior style and design to new heights. It doesn’t end there either!

Did you know that the top-spec VX trim now comes with an exclusive new beige seat fabrics with stitching and a 7.0-inch touchscreen with access to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay?

 

Engine Performance 

Honda Amaze now offers two reliable BS6 engines including the 1.5 litre I-DTEC engine and the the 1.2-liter I-VTEC petrol engine. You can choose the best engine for you based on your specific needs. For example, if you want a cheaper engine in the long run then the petrol engine is the way to go, but if you want more efficiency and less CO2, then the diesel engine is the perfect choice for you. Despite their differences both the Honda engines are well-known for their amazing mileage and performance.

For instance, the diesel engine has a maximum displacement of 1498cc and a powerful mileage of 24.7 kmpl while the petrol engine has a maximum displacement of 1199cc and an amazing mileage of 18.6 kmpl. Additionally, you also have the option of choosing either a Manual Transmission (MT) or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for your engine, be it the petrol variant or the diesel variant.

In the 1.5 litre I-DTEC Diesel engine, the MT variant produces a power of 97.89bhp at 3600rpm and a torque of  200Nm at 1750rpm while the CVT variant produces a power of 79.12bhp at 3600rpm and a torque of 160Nm at 1750rpm. Although in the 1.2-liter I-VTEC petrol engine, both the MT and CVT variants produce the same maximum power output of 88.50bhp at 6000rpm and a maximum torque output of 110Nm at 4800rpm.
